My LTTE regarding this Allen attack on Webb
Think they'll print it?

This latest attack by the Allen campaign about the "fiction" writing of James Webb is dispicable in it's attempt to distort, and deplorable in it's stupidity. It's nice to see George Allen took some time out from focus grouping which cowboy boots would give him the greatest "aw shucks" effect to do some reading.

Perhaps if Allen had read Jim Webb's writing about the quagmire awaiting us in Iraq, or how massive tax-cuts for the wealthy would destroy the middle class, we wouldn't be in the mess that we're in. If only George had read some of Webb's writing, he may not have been a parrot on 97% of what this administration wanted.

I'm not surprised about this latest attack from Allen. Watching him and the Republicans these past 6 years, I can easily understand their confusion when it comes to "fiction and reality". I'm voting for Jim Webb, because among many other things, he knows the difference between the reality and fantasy.

1. No, they won't print it.
Too short, and it lacks punch. Plus you're a Browns fan. :)

I kid, I kid. You've got a good start, just pad it out a bit, and that might just make the opinion page.

3. Just to be pedantic & everything...
"It's" is short for "it is" (you got that right). "It" as a possessive, i.e. "its attempt", "its stupidity" has no apostrophe. Just sayin...

4. I like it.
They would certainly print it here in Kansas so why would they not? Great letter IMO.

5. Good points, and well focused. Rant, but not overboard. Nice job
  :applause:
but...it's 'despicable'.
And yeah, a possessive 'its' doesn't have an apostrophe, but a contractive one does.

Gods but I love grammar and spelling...:sarcasm:
It's soooo confoogalating...
