7. WHAT IS REALLY SCARY is people deciding to stay home
because they don't think there vote will count.

Don't think spreading this meme isn't a form a vote surpression.

8. Dalloway - BECAUSE we are concerned our votes won't count, we MUST GOTV...
I am in Indiana and there WILL BE rigging/hacking/tampering in this Republican-controlled state in this election.

Those of us who know about the dangers of rigging and vote suppression are pushing for more, more, more GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV GOTV

9. Wow. Hit the nail on the head.
What's scarier than the e-voting is the fact that most people don't *care*. Bingo.

10. Heh! Good for Bill Amend!
This isn't the first time he's taken a swing like this. I remember being knocked out by this one from December, 2003 -- the image in my OP is dead, but ProudLiberals.com still has a copy:

17. No, it's just over 1/3.
Source: Election Data Services

There is an important 80% stat though, which applied to 2004's election.
80% of the 2004 votes were cast on ES&S and Diebold systems. Those companies are owned by two brothers with reich-wing connections.

20. They do own a lot of them.
The election-rigging companies seem to be trying their hand at various means of vote-switching.

Back in 2004, ES&S had DREs too (eg: iVotronic), and Diebold had their Op-Scan systems (like the AccuVote ES-2000).
But IIRC, ES&S was much more known for Op-Scans back in then.

14. Amend's not usually political, but he's printed some real surprises.
I wish I could locate the one in which Roger Fox says something like "Wouldn't it be funny if a chimp were elected President?"
:wow:
He's also a MacHead, check out his Web site!

He's ported the Slug-Man game to OSX:
