MSNBC: Potential voting problems loom in U.S.
Long lines, delays could result from efforts to improve

WASHINGTON - Long lines and long counts threaten to mar next month's U.S. congressional elections as millions of Americans put new voting machines and rules to the test, election officials and experts say.

The result could be delays in knowing whether Democrats capture one or both houses of Congress, or whether President Bush's Republicans keep control.

"In close elections, it may be days and weeks before a winner is known in a particular race," said Paul DeGregorio, chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, created to oversee a 2002 election law overhaul.

2. Nothing New
That would give the republicans plenty of time to manufacture more votes.

this SPECIFY which state, which country, which precinct SINCE WE KNOW that some states, counties, and precincts already have experience. There are only a limited number that are getting new machines - it's NOT a nation wide problem.

THIS five day stuff IS THEIR WAY OF ALLOWING KARL TO REWORK THE NUMBERS BECAUSE IT CAN'T ALL BE DONE IN ONE STATE and other SPECIFIC PLACES LIKE IT WAS IN 2000, 2002, 2004.

WE NOW KNOW THE PLAN!! Remember?

2000 - All the Tom Brokaw's started telling us the Florida was the swing state - remember how hyper and excited they were?

2004 - All the Tom Brokaw's told us that Ohio would be the swing state and then they told us that exit polling seems to be having problems.

2006 - All the Tome Brokaw's are telling us that the last 72 hours are important. Now this guy is saying that we may not know for 5 days after.

What are their needs?

They need to dump some of the elections if they can - declare the machines unusable and print up ballots and not get them distributed and then do something wild like declare that the incumbent must stay in office.

They need to keep the number of people who calculate the necessary number for the thefts to be contained, to be limited. The more people who are involved in fixing the numbers so they don't jump out at anyone is delicate - they can't have anyone leaking or slipping or being seen arriving at and leaving from fixing stations or phone banks of people surrounding Rove.

They need to create as much confusion and LBN's as possible to deflect attention away from their actions.

They need to create an avalanche of confusion and lies, rumors, reversals so that there will be total mayhem that looks like its coming from a spread of states and counties within the states - so that people just give up and look away.

They need FIVE DAYS as defined by this guy to manipulate and massage results.

The exit polling is no longer being promoted from the networks and they must make sure that all exit polling being done independently is wiped off the page/screen.

List your own thoughts keeping this in mind -

THREE DAYS BEFORE - AND - FIVE DAYS AFTER. They said it.

They are going to compensate for any thefts thay can't repeat from previous years because of demands to examine the software - with total MAYHEM.

THREE DAYS BEFORE and FIVE DAYS AFTER. You heard it from them. Connect the dots.

There are no swing states this time - they are all swing states - different strokes for different folks with one constant - mayhem and declarations. All little votes compared to that of a President - all little outcomes that will be lost in the aftermath - like a Hurricane Katrina!

THREE DAYS BEFORE - look for announcements - not in the Democrats favor.

FIVE DAYS AFTER - look for the same.

They will be making independent announcements - that's what they are all about. Strike, act, and legalize it later. So much for the greatest democracy on the planet.

6. All of a sudden it's gonna take 5 days? I smell a rat
or maybe 50 rats. Computers should make it instant counting, not delayed counting. Hand counts are generally done within a day, so WHAT ARE THEY BASING THEIR ESTIMATES ON? And why have they not addressed forseeable problems (doesn't THAT sound like a familiar question?)?????
