So, Here We Are....
Its 2006 in the most technologically advanced nation on earth...
Home of the world's leading software and computer technology...
Where many 15 year old kids could write bullet-proof voting software...
And we are gonna be voting on computers programmed with proprietary software....
Owned and tested by partisan hacks....
Many with no paper receipt...
And exit polling no longer 'in vogue'...
All with no way of tracking if the vote registered properly...
And we're supposed to just trust it works right...
You betcha !

Wanna buy some ocean front property in Kansas ?

1. It's disgraceful, isn't it?
Who decided that voting should be handled by the private sector?

I think it should be done at state level, with a federal oversight and mandatory spot checks. I also think television news coverage and polling reports should be forbidden until ALL of the polls close. This crap of news services declaring certain people winners while polling places are still open is bull.

2. Don't forget the voter purge that's going on, too
as eligible voters are kicked off the rolls for bogus reasons.

We could fix all of these problems if we had the will. This should be the first order of business when Dems get control, hopefully after Nov. 2nd.

3. Or November 7th.
:-) I wish both parties would get up off their asses and do something about it.
