desperate challenges to a candidate's validity in several states. In my own former state of Ohio, a puke supporter of the truly nutball puke gubernatorial candidate filed a challenge to the legality of the Dem candidate's voting registration; if his registration is invalid, he can'd be a candidate for office. The two puke members of the county elections board actually voted against the Dem candidate, even though the law appears to be on his side and there's no validity issue that can be determined. This kicks it up to the state SOS office to make the determination, and the SOS happens to be-wait for it-the puke candidate for governor! Never mind that Strickland, the Dem candidate, is nearly thirty points ahead in the polls. That means that Blackwell, the puke candidate, can't put the fix in like he did in OH in '04, without attracting suspicion and scrutiny, so they're using this ridiculous, desperate tactic.
And in CA, the CA pukes just filed a challenge to Jerry Brown's candidacy for Attorney General, with some stupid bullshit about him not attending state bar meetings and, therefore, not being a member in good standing of the state bar which means he therefore can't be an AG candidate. Never mind that they had months to do this and they waited until the very last moment. They're getting desperate because they're too far behind in the polls to be able to put the fix in like they did before and legitimately get away with it.
