Why is Daschle everywhere now?
Edited on Mon Oct-23-06 08:08 AM by Skidmore
He's on Washington Journal now. I've seen him on several programs over the weekend and I'm not really enamoured of him serving as senior spokesperson for the party now. Between Daschle and Gephardt, Dems in Congress handed * a blank check and the keys to the kingdom by way of the Iraq war. These two individuals are the last people I want to see as the face of the party.

2. He's running for president.
Or at least he's increasing his exposure to see if that bumps up his image enough to consider it.

One reason the media wants to hear from him is because he's a high-ranking Dem who is not running for office or holding office now. That gives him an air of statesmanship and objectivity. Deserved or not. Plus, he looks good on camera. So, they want to hear from him, he wants his face out there. Voila! There he is.

6. Since he's not running
he has more leeway (and will generate less heat/repercussions) to 'tell it like it is'. At least that's my take.

12. You know how political egos are
Everyone he knows tells him he's the greatest person who ever lived, so he starts thinking "Hey, maybe if everyone else out there knew me well enough, I'd have a chance." he talked about it earlier this year.

8. Seeing him again reminds me me of "lets work together" attitude....
that has led to ruination. He is the poster boy for DINO.

10. Media likes "timid" soft-spoken dems
Shrum, Brazile, Daschle, et al.

They are "safe", so they get invited.

The more "boisterous" ones are rationed and are rarely allowed to be on tv unopposed..:grr:

as well!

They are all bad and will go down in history as such!!!!

They all should be kicked out of congress and sent to the World Criminal Court!!!
