Why is there such a focus on Foley's molester??

All of a sudden the story turns to who abused Foley. Yeah in a fair world it would be good to look at the factors that led to Foley being a perv. But there are a million perv's out there who also suffered at the hands of a predator. But god forbid our justice system ever take into account the trauma that leads to crime. Why the hell should this perv get special consideration by talking about his abuser. Double standards suck ass.

3. Because someone believes it's not really Foley's fault he's
'that way'. At least that's the spin, and they think we're all a bunch of morans!

6. The fact that Foley was molested...
...solidifies the notion that foley is a pedophile. Clearly, Foley was "acting out" his own
abuse, which is common with victims who haven't processed their own trauma.

No longer can anyone minimize this, or suggest that this has anything to do with homosexuality.

Foley's behavior was predatory and the result of his own sexual trauma.

Furthermore--I'd like to kick Foley's perpetrator's ass. His comments about the abuse are straight from the pedophile handbook. He's suggesting that Foley was a willing partner in the abuse and that it wasn't "rape". He's also telling Foley to "let bygones be bygones" and to go on with his life.

Soooooooooo typical of these sexual terrorists. Their thought processes are hoarked up beyond repair.

7. Because it distracts from Foley's ENABLERS, aka: "Senior Repub Leaders".
And a whole bunch of what pretend to be "news organizations"
are little more than Repub propaganda outlets these days.

They are desperate to distract the public from focusing
on the FACT that they knew about Foley for YEARS and
did what they could to COVER for him.

8. The story shifts from what Foley did, to what was done to him...
The story regarding the corrupt and irresponsible Republican government goes out the window, and the focus falls sexual predators in general.

Thus, Foley is a "victim" in the revised script, not a perpetrator (even though he continued the chain of behavior).

10. Foley gets to pass GO and collect $200.00
so we can start blaming the priest, and say, well poor old Foley, he only did what was done to him...

12. Diversion and distraction and equivocation.
It is the standard play book for scandal management by the ruling party. Blame everyone else, especially the media and the purported opposition party. It is the liberal media that is making all the trouble. It is a Democratic plot to embarass republican perverts. Bring up other scandals from the past where the purported opposition party is involved (Garry Studds.) Invent phony current scandals (Harry Reid's land deal non scandal.) And of course Foley was molested so we should take it easy on him.

Just lay the bullshit on from as many directions as possible with a coherent orchestrated message drone and soon enough the Bullshit Media System will have created enough confusion that perhaps 50% of the population won't have even the foggiest idea what happened or who is to blame.

So far it seems to keep working.

14. Tucker was just on demanding the Catholic Church should take away
the old priest's pension and kick him out of him out of church property.

I didn't hear him advocate that the government take away Foley's pension.

Foley is no better than the priest for he also targeted teenage boys. In fact I feel he is worse because he outed a priest only to save his own neck. Foley does NOT have clean hands.
