Why aren't there any U.N. Security Council Resolutions against US?

It seems the UN declares resolutions against various nations whom it deems errant, and then the U.S. declares that nation must obey said resolutions or face sanctions followed by bombing and invasion.

WHY are there no such resolutions against the U.S.?

Or are there?

3. It seems dumb to have veto powers, but...

I guess it reflects the way the world is. The big powers could simply ignore and delegitimize an organization if they didn't like what it did or said.
