I don't watch Joe's show, so I've no idea how old this is. But if you haven't seen it before, give it a look. Scarborough asks if Bush is an idiot, then gives evidence that seems to answer - Yes! Bush IS an Idiot!

I think I had tears coming out of my eyes I was laughing so hard when I saw Stewart do that piece. I don't think my wife was too happy, as I woke her up...

The consensus is that Bush is overwehlmed by the English language, and--Scarborough concludes--overwhelmed by the job.

6. You know, not that I'll ever like him or anything

But I think he's developed as a "journalist," at least in the way the word is used these days. Scarborough does ask good questions from time to time, and he does draw some conclusions from facts, rather than straight from GOP talking points. He's a conservative, he'll always be a conservative, and the definiton of journalist these days means that he will always try to slant his stories, but I've seen some objectivity from him. He does at times see and even report the obvious, even when it may not be what he wants it to be. He does pick topics, sometimes, that have some merit for discussion.

Again, I don't like him, and I don't like the current concept of television journalism, which is much more like advertising than journalism anyway. But credit where due, Scarborough has taken his new career seriously, and has learned and gotten better, rather than just campaigning from his seat. That surpises me.

Just my perceptions.

He's making an effort here. I'm not even going to question his motives. On this issue, he gets a full pass. Let's hope that there's more to come.
