North American union
Anyone have a link for a good source of info on this, seems much of what's going on, eliminating social security, fair tax initiative, national ID, bill of rights in check has more to do with this than terrorism.

I don't have a link for you but if you search the internet you will find plenty of info on this topic, which leads right into the realm of "conspiracy theory" once again. The NTU is merely another small step inthe journey to a one world government. All these trade agreements and legislation beings passed under the guise of free trade and "spreading democracy" is but the slow and methodical implementation of the infrastructure that will need to be in place once it is decided the time is right for world governement.
This idea of world government has been around for a long time and it has been the leitmotif of internationalists for many years. If one goes back to the late fifties and early sixties the hysteria about world communism embodied by groups like the John Birch Society and other right wing and fundamentalist groups were warning of the very thing that we see emerging today on the world scene. Communism has proved not to be the motivating force behind the drive for world government. Ironically, it had proven to be the capitalist system and the multi-national corporations along with the political elites who support them that has had the greatest impact on pushing the agenda forward.
I understand the suspicion with which people view "conspiracy" talk, but a close examination of history especially American history leads to the conclusion that the political process in America merely camouflages the activities of more powerful forces that work behind the scenes to produce the kind of structures that will benefit themselves at the expense of the common good.
To understad this breeds a lot of frustration and despair as most of the population continues to put its trust in one political party or the other to curtail the apparently relentless progress of a world economic plan designed to benefit corporate entities and the affluent consumer masses, while plunging greater and greater numbers of people the world over into poverty based on sub-standard wages, job outsourcing, and forced importation of goods at cheaper prices than formerly domestic sources.
These policies will ultimately result in a two tier world social structure similar to feudalism in which virtually powerless laborers will slave away at producing cheap goods and services for the elite capitalist powers and their support personnel who will live above the misery and be largely ignorant of the human suffering and degradation that supports their opulent life style.
So as America goes abroad "spreading democracy" and "liberty" and equality one must redefine these terms to suit the "new reality" that our leaders have so audaciously bragged that it is their perogative to create!

North American Union to Replace USA?

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted May 19, 2006

.... President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union: ....

Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 12, 2006

.... A good reason Bush does not want to secure the border with Mexico may be that the administration is trying to create express lanes for Mexican trucks to bring containers with cheap Far East goods into the heart of the U.S., all without the involvement of any U.S. union workers on the docks or in the trucks.

Mr. Corsi is the author of several books, including "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" (along with John O'Neill), "Black Gold Stranglehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil" (along with Craig R. Smith), and "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians." He is a frequent guest on the G. Gordon Liddy radio show. He will soon co-author a new book with Jim Gilchrist on the Minuteman Project.

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 19, 2006

The Bush Administration is pushing to create a North American Union out of the work on-going in the Department of Commerce under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in the NAFTA office headed by Geri Word. A key part of the plan is to expand the NAFTA tribunals into a North American Union court system that would have supremacy over all U.S. law, even over the U.S. Supreme Court, in any matter related to the trilateral political and economic integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico. ....

8. Hi Markiegreg!
Thanks for the timeline. It does provide food for thought ,, for the thoughtful. I find it interesting that someone like Corsi is writing about this. A man who hyped the "swiftboat liars" and supports the Bush agenda would be expected to support anything that the "decider" decides is best for America. Maybe it's a symptom of terminal confusion in these days when the Big Agenda appears to be agreed on by both parties. The disagreements are only tactical and self serving as the powerbrokers jostle for position in the new order of things.
The aim is after all designed to increase corporate profits not to unite the "peoples" of North America in a love feast of mutual admiration and brotherhood, unles it is the brotherhood of the exploited masses.
