Oct 7 (Reuters) - Following are security and other developments in Iraq reported on Saturday as of 1930 GMT:

Asterisk denotes new or updated item.

* KIRKUK - Iraqi troops swept through the restive northern oil city of Kirkuk in a hunt for weapons and insurgents, arresting 184 people and seizing 450 weapons, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Police said they had found 51 bodies, many bound and tortured, in the capital in the past 24 hours.

* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed one policeman in the southern district of Dora, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb exploded near a U.S. patrol in eastern Baghdad, killing one civilian inside a car, Interior Ministry sources said.

TAL AFAR - A suicide car bomb killed 14 people, including four soldiers, and wounded 13, including nine civilians, at an Iraqi Army checkpoint in the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar, Tal Afar's police chief said.

BAAJ - Gunmen killed a contractor and two employees in the small town of Baaj west of the northern city of Mosul, police said.

BAQUBA - Iraqi army forces killed two gunmen and arrested 50 in different parts of Baquba, the Iraqi army said in a statement.

ISKANDARIYA - Mortar rounds killed two and wounded four members of the same family as they slept in their home in the small town of Iskandariya, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - One civilian was killed and eight wounded when a mortar round landed on the main bus station in Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - Gunmen killed four people in different incidents in Baquba, police said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen entered a bakery and killed two workers and wounded one in Baghdad's western Mansour district, police said.

BAGHDAD - Police said they found five bodies with signs of torture and bullet wounds in the eastern Shi'ite Sadr City district of Baghdad.

ISHAQI - Gunmen attacked an Iraqi army checkpoint and wounded four soldiers near the town of Ishaqi, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad on Friday. A security source said one gunman was killed in the attack.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed two people, including a woman, in two separate incidents in Mosul 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

SINJAR - Gunmen killed two labourers and wounded two others near the northern Iraqi town of Sinjar, close to the Syrian border, Sinjar's mayor, Thakheel Qasim, said. The labourers were all minority Yezidis and worked for a contractor.

BAIJI - A U.S. soldier was killed in action on Friday near the northern town of Baiji, the U.S. military said in a statement.
