WI debate for gubenatorial candidates--interesting because Doyle's

R opponent quoted Democratic leaders such as Roosevelt & Kennedy a lot. Have Reagan and the other Republican stars fallen from the heavens? Yesterday, I actually heard a republican on CSPAN actually say that Reagan was just one man with a set of beliefs and not a saint. I think it might have been Viguerie.

1. mark green is a Complete Asshole & It Makes Me Sick He Used Good Dems'

names. Kind of reminds me when Lloyd Bensten (sp?) told reagan that he was "no Jack Kennedy" in a presidential debate. green is a pig, and votes with * 94%+ of the time. Also, in that debate, the guys with the dark hair reminnded me of hannity - he asked, or should I say hammered Doyle about taxes, and was rather smarmy in his tone. This debate was supposed to be about health care and education, which was announced shortly after the last debate. ALSO, green seemed to have a lot more air time than Governor Doyle. ONE MORE THING . . . the last debate was in Waukesha, the most repuglican county in Wisconsin (per Dave Obey). Anyway, make no mistake, green was trying to align himself as a "moderate." He's anything but. Also, he LIED when he said he'd never cut money on education - a total & complete lie. He'd voucher this entire state in lightning speed, and he'd cut spending for our children's education just as fast.
Oh yeah, and he has major ties to abramoff & delay, AND ILLEGALLY transferred almost $1.3 million dollars from his congressional campaign to his gubernatorial campaign. His is a sick, evil, lying, creepy POS!

2. I agree with your assessment of Green, but I'm more than amused by

the attempts of Rs to distance themselves from their own icons and each other right now. Chewing off their paws to try to get out of the traps of their own making.
