Former First Lady Barbara Bush will speak in Boca Raton on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at a private fundraising luncheon in support of the re-election of U.S. Rep. E. Clay Shaw.

This luncheon is being hosted by Yvonne Boice, a Boca businesswoman and philanthropist, who said: "We are honored and delighted that Mrs. Bush has chosen to visit Boca Raton in support of Congressman Shaw."

"Having met Mrs. Bush on several occasions, I've always been impressed by her insightful and inspiring speeches," said Boice. "Considering her unique role in history, being both a president's wife and a mother, this is truly a momentous event."

The luncheon will be held at noon at the Boca Raton Country Club on Congress Avenue across from Costco. It will be preceded by an 11 a.m. photo opportunity. The price of the photo op and luncheon is $1,000. Luncheon only is $500.
