The stench of the Republican party is reaching the noses of the average voter. It's not just us bloggers and net users who are smelling the stench rising out of the elephant orufus in D.C.

Now is the time for Democrats to act. Now is the time to deliver the final blow. We can tko the GOP if we seize the opportunity.

Between Iraq, the deficit, Foley, Hastert and the like, the GOP is on the ropes.

Let's get out the vote this year. Bring your friends to the polls. Register voters. Speak the truth on message boards, blogs and emails. We have EVERYTHING about where we need it, in order to win!

2. a couple of points

a) during recess, he can do no more damage. no votes, no blow jobs for the white house, no half nelsons.
b) his presence is becoming an embarrassment to GOP voters everywhere. If he stays on through the election, watch for a major surprise.
c) if he leaves now, the GOP can claim (not honestly, but that has never stopped them) the ethical high ground.
d) If he continues to spout vast left wing/Soros/Dick Morris conspiracy theories, he may even lose his own seat.

Republican internal polling indicates a loss of 20 House seats if he goes, a loss of up to 50 possible if he stays. Hold your ground, Denny! Don't let the bastards push you overboard!

Edit to add: No offense to you, gotigers. Your site will give people of all political stripes a place to build a head of steam that will affect the GOP whether Denny stays or goes.
