When did Scarborough turn on Repugs?
He began his show with "the scandal that will end the Republicans' monopoly on Capitol Hill."

2. When they were no longer about real American-conservatism...
and more about staying in power. One might suggest that they were never really a party of American conservatism, but really a party based upon deceptions and hatred.

7. True. Katrina was when the middle couldn't ignore it anymore.
Even some Republicans and Conservatives woke up after Katrina.

Did you just hear that Foley offered housing for blowjobs. This gift is not going away anytime soon. This fugger was sick.

15. Sounds like Foley burned Scarborough bigtime
He had him on the show talking about stopping child molesters with Chris Hansen no less.

I imagine that Joe's genuinely pissed at Foley and even more pissed at the Republican bigshots that did nothing to stop him.

18. No skin off his back
He doesn't have to run for re election with these guys. He sticks his finger in the air and knows which way the wind is blowing here. Better to be ahead of the disaster that is coming than stand steadfast and look like an uninformed fool at the end of the day.

Opportunistic perhaps, but at least he's more real than Rush or Hannity.

I used to tune in just to see his rants. He was genuinely angry, outraged, and betrayed by his party, and hasn't been the same since.
