Anyone ever listen to the Phillips Phile? (Orlando and XM radio)
His show is on WTKS (104.1FM) here in Orlando, and he's also on nationally on the XM network (don't know what station). Most of the stuff is just run-of-the mill stuff - he describes his show as Seinfeld on the radio. But every now and then - and more often lately - he launches into his anti-Bush tirades. This is when he is at his best. What's even more hiliarious is when the gophers call in (this is Orlando, after all), he absolutely tears them all to shreds.

He's on vacation until Jan. 2nd, but if you get a chance, try to tune in then. I'm sure he'll have quite a bit to say about all this wiretapping stuff that's broken out since he left for vacation.

1. The only thing dumber than some of his callers is ...
Moira. She really needs to get a brain. :eyes:

5. Moira can be annoying, but she did a pretty good job while he was gone
She did an excellent job putting the right-wingers in their place. Guess they figured with Jim gone, it would be safe to call up and try to defend the wiretaps.

2. I used to listen to him when I lived down south
He's pretty good - very down to earth.

3. What time is he on?
I would be interested in listening since I usually can pull in most Orlando radio stations where I live.

6. GOD I loved this show
when I lived down there. It was the only thing on 104 I could stand to listen to. Remember Miss B?

7. Sorry, that was before I started listening to the show

But what's funny is that the Monsters (the morning show for that station), who used to be a fairly conservative bunch (in the Ted Nugent fasion, that is), have come down solidly against Bush ever since the '00 election. They at least have that going for them!
