peolosi, wasserman-schultz, kendrick meeks and alcee hastings were in sunrise today talking to senior citizens about medicare, social security, and bush's privatization vs. democrats not for privatization.
at the end of the town hall meeting they opened it up to the media.

the first question posed to them was posed by MICHAEL PUTNEY, POLITICAL REPORTER FOR WPLG CHANNEL 10
MIAMI. His question addressed to pelosi was did she think hastert ought to resign?

pelosi graciously said she had hoped that at least the first round of questions from the media would go to the subject matter they had just finished talking about in the town hall (i.e. social security, medicare, universal health coverage, lower prescription rates) ... no one in the media asked one single question about that, no one made a move to ask about that, so she then graciously proceeded to answer PUTNEY'S question and that of the other reporters who asked about foley.

since PUTNEY was the first reporter to ask a question and may have set the tone for the rest of the media gathered there, and because michael putney is a bush shill and a gatekeeper for the bushes, i will venture to say that he wanted the subject matter of the meeting blocked from getting out into the local newscast because pelosi and the democrats gathered there made damn good sense about these other matters which impact our fabric of life like medicare, social security, lower Rx, etc.

Shame on Michael Putney!
