Anybody watch the JFK Campaign documentary "Primary"?
I just bought it from Barnes and Noble's website. It came in the mail today. I am really excited about watching it. It's about the Wisconsin primary with JFK and Hubert Humphrey. I love docs like this. I loved "The War Room" and "A Perfect Candidate" both vastly different but great. I was just curious if anybody else watched it before and what you all thought. Don't give away the ending, haha. :)

1. Not me, but I saw JFK at his rally the night before the election
on November,1960.

It was at The Boston Garden, and it was jammed to the rafters.

"Happy Days are Here Again" played all night.

I'll never forget it.

(Sorry for getting off-topic but your post brought back pleasant memores)

2. I bet that was awesome
my grandfather was the President of the National Congress of American Indians when JFK was president. He got to meet him many times. They ended up being pretty good friends. Our family has pics of them together and everything. He was such a special man and a great president.

3. Lucky you... I only managed to see him from a few feet away but
it was enough for me.

Your grandfather sounds like quite a gentleman and I'll bet the family treasures those pictures.
