First prediction: Senate could go Dem. (TN in Dem column?)
Tom Zuzelo, who runs the Election Predictions site is today moving TN-Sen to the Democratic Party column. Along with his other predicted turn-overs in MT, OH, PA, RI, and MO, is enough to give Dems a one seat majority in the Senate.

Now a couple of these seats are very, very close, and there is still a question in both CT and NJ, however things are moving in the right direction and there's still a very close race in VA and potentials in AZ.

Who knows what benefits lie within the Woodward book and the Foley mess? Neither will be making the White House happy.

1. Macacca sprung for a two minute ad across Virginia tonight.
That will set him back a few sheckels.

I smell flowers.

2. Ford has been running a very smart campaign here, IMO
Corker has been very predictable and is a walking RW talking point.

3. That's all the Repukes have.
They have *nothing* else but "stay the course". They've painted themselves into a corner with their policies. There's *no* *way* *out* for them. All they have left is "stay the course" and their dirty tricks, neither of which is going to help them this November. The public is absolutely sick to death of both of them.

6. I really hope you are correct
nothing however would surprise me with this bunch. I am sure we can agree that they are liars, thieves and desperate.

7. ...and only one where the GOP holds power over voting apparatus.
There are lots of districts in play where Dems are Secys of State, or are election commissioners. I can't believe that these Dems would allow Repukes to try any funny business. Also, there are many principled Republicans left in the GOP who would blow the whistle on such a thing as overt attempt to rig the election.

The question one has to ask the Repukes this time is, "With upwards of 75 races in play all across the nation you have to ask yourself, Do I feel lucky?"

The fact of the matter is that rigging one election in OH or FL when you have an operative at the top of the voting apparatus is one thing; rigging enough of the 75 races to ensure victory, when all the opponents need is 15, is a horse of a different color.

Be realistic here. All this "They'll steal it" screeching is just noise.
