The latest GOP spin on the Foley situation
I don't know why, but I happened to tune into Hammity for a few minutes while flipping through the radio stations. They're trying to pin this on the Democrats (duh), saying that we knew about this for months, and that we waited until it was too late for Foley to be replaced on the ballot.

Oh, and he also resorted to the "Clinton did it too" defense. I guess we all knew that was coming.

1. "Clinton did it too"
If we ignore the fact that Clinton was with a consenting adult, and Foley is a pediphile... then let's run with that... so, Clinton was impeached... Foley should get the absolute worst thing that could happen to him.

2. Short answer to this spin
So, you're saying Foley's innocent of any wrongdoing, is that it Mr. Hannity? Can't imagine why he would have resigned if he didn't do anything wrong. Or is Mr. Foley just such a delicate soul that even the hint of impropriety launched by his sworn enemies is enough to make him turn tail (so to speak) and run?

You should be glad such a lily-livered coward has been run out of your ranks, Mr. Hannity. Leaves more elbow room for the real he-men to swing their weapons (if you know what I mean).

4. If it had been a Dem, Hannity would have been all over it
I think we all know how the RW nutjobs would be reacting if it were a Democrat accused of this CRIME.

5. One of the guys Clinton pardoned was convicted of underage sex
When Clinton issued all those pardons upon leaving office, one of those went to some guy (forget the name) who had been convicted of having sex with an underage girl. It wasn't the only thing he was convicted of, there were a slew of other charges.

Whatever it might have been, it's totally unrelated to what's going on now. It only further shows just how fixated the RW still is with Clinton, how they automatically try to deflect any criticism towards him. You simply cannot debate a RWer about anything without them bringing up Clinton.

7. You wouldn't hold them to the standard of having EVIDENCE would you?

9. Yeah, what was I thinking...
When it comes to Dems people can just pull all kinds of crap out of their bum and thats fine.

When it comes to repubs you can have a mountain of evidence in your hand and you may not even get mention of it in the press let alone arrested or thrown out of office.

8. "are you hard?"
So, we don't mind if they fuck our kid when he goes off to
learn about democracy in the priviledged page programme?
Is that the new republican instruction?

What more degenerate disrespect of the congress can there be?
This is an exceptionally heinous crime given foley's position and
its utterly indefensible that behaviour, if the capital police
are also involved, it will take an outside investigator to catch
this rat, as it has long been in the white house as well.

"are you hard?" ... to an underaged boy is indefensible, by
anyone but a paedophile, leaving serious questions open to all
who don't polarize against this systemic republican behaviour.

"are you hard?" - 3 words that best define the bush presidency.
