A ROVE indictment just before the elections?
I don't think he is off the hook yet even though they say he is? Wonder how it would play out?

1. I'm Betting on Abramoff
Rove may have immunity from Fitzgerald, but Fitzgerald isn't doing Abramoff stuff!

2. No, but gas prices will mysteriously drop another quarter or so per gallon
and that's the bottom line for all the suckers out there.

4. vote for me and get free gas
I expect not many people have heard of Karl Rove or worry if he is indicted? I guess they would worry more about Bush?

8. To paraphrase Stewie Griffin..
That is so funny. And so fresh. What you've managed to do is use it out of context to insult TO in an everyday situation. I've never heard anyone ever use that before. Anything else? Perhaps some Titanic jokes while we're hitting on these things at the height of their popularity. You're so funny!

9. Listen, I never passed judgement on Truthout, Will Pitt, Or Leopold
and defended them as best I could on this forum.

IMO, they were diligent and reported a story that is plausible and probably happened.

You need to be able to laugh at shit sometimes. It helps lighten the load.

10. Give it a rest.
If anything had been found out, it would have happened already.

There is no Santa Fitz.

Elections, not the judiciary, is the only way for Dems to regain power, and they keep taking their eyes off the ball with fantasies of revenge rather than the hard work it takes to win an election.

Look. I think Bush cheated, too. But this election is the last one we will have before he passes out of our power to harm. WE MUST WIN THE HOUSE. Then we can impeach him, regardless. But we will never win the 2/3s of the Senate required to convict, so he will serve out his 2 years with the full power of the Presidency.

Which means the power to reward and punish individual congressmen in various ways. So without a chance to convict, do you think the Dem representatives have the courage to stand on principle and impeach, anyway? They haven't shown it to me, yet, but maybe they do.

12. Well, then,
maybe they need to work harder. As long as the numbers are not close, then they cannot steal it. At least it would be harder and more obvious.

The thing is, if they do it, and we can't catch them at it and expose the conspiracy for what it really is, then we are well and truly screwed. And not just because they are stealing elections. It's because our leaders are either so venal, or so incompetent, that they can and will do nothing for us, and more, so are we to keep such as our leaders.

We have to win, and that's all there is too it.
