Grand Old Pedophiles?

You know, it is very tempting to tell ourselves that pedophilia is easily identifiable...such as pompous, bad-haired old white Republicans. And obviously there is smoke there that might lead to fire.

And I think we Dems should exploit the hell out of this now, in election season, and hopefully people will feel kind of quesy when they look at these men on the ballot. It's the best news we've heard in a long time, except not so good for those kids. I hope to God it never went farther than dirty emails.

But I kind of want to state the obvious here...as a teacher... that pedophiles come in all sizes, shapes, colors, economic status, and political persuasions. It's a disease, or disorder, if you prefer, and it doesn't discriminate.

When I look at the sexual predator list for FL, it is an equal opportunity hell.

Speaking of...I wonder if Foley will be registered as a predator in his hometown? Do emails count? Are they illegal?

3. I think emails do count now, thanks to legislation passed and signed

into law this year, which he co-sponsored.

And while many, if not most, jursidictions set 16 as the cutoff age, the new federal law sets the age at 18.
