Both are running with the story:

WaPo: GOP Leaders Knew of Foley's Messages

This is blowing up very, very big.

Furthermore, Hastert is in big poo-poo and is likely to lose his leadership role, and maybe his seat. Shays and other prominent Republicans are calling for him to step down. His Democratic opponent in his district immediately held a presser with Boehner's opponent. They are making hay faster than Rumplestiltskin on this issue.

Reynolds' opponent is also attacking his role.

Republicans could easily lose three seats to this scandal, and may lose up to four, all of which were considered safe. They will certainly lose at least Foley's and likely Hastert's.
