Opinion may be divided over whether the e-mails Florida Representative Mark Foley sent a teen-age male congressional page last year were inappropriate or even constituted outright sexual harassment. But most observers would agree that what was almost as surprising as the allegations themselves was how swiftly the six-term Republican congressman from West Palm Beach quit a thriving career on Capitol Hill after the e-mails were aired Thursday night on the ABC evening news.

But if you want a real funny, check the title of your browser window when you open that story. It reads:

I think perhaps that these other MSM outlets haven't verified yet that ABC's IM details are valid.

Don't worry, they will. Dateline has done infinity number of programs about internet predators. This stuff sells.

What we may need to kick them into doing is to cover the leadership cover up.

2. How out of it are these clowns???

...I live in the sticks in New Hampshire for Christ Sake, and by virtue of having not fallen off a pumpkin truck and staying up past sunset, knew by 9pm last night that the guy is a SERIOUS pervert-not because he is gay-which even as a 53 year old straight I accept as normal for a percentage of people-but because he posted sexually explicit material to a 15 year old almost 40 years his junior with whom he had contact as a "superior" (I know he is 16 NOW-this has been going on for over a year). How nice they tell us his replacement has a "squeaky clean" reputation, but isn't that EXACTLY what Foley had until 24 hours ago??? Now tell us why we should trust the party that hid this disgraceful behavior for a year...
