A question for everyone about your predictions...

I'm just wondering what the concensus is with everyone as to what is going to happen after Nov. 7. IF we win control of the House and/or the Senate what do you believe will happen???

Nancy Pelosi has said that impeachment is off the table. Do you think they are saying that just to not tip their hand or give the repubs any ammunition and then will strike like a cobra once we get the majority? Or do you think it's true and they really believe it's not in the best interest of the country?
If they DO start impeachment proceedings, do you think they will go after just Bush or throw a wider net? Will they get Bush out of office before his term is up? Or will the investigation and impeachment process drag out and take until (or nearly) the end of his term? Will they convict or pardon??
Will the fence-rider Dems do the right thing?

These are all things that have me biting my nails (along with a million other things the government is doing). I know what I want to happen, but I haven't gotten a really clear indication anywhere as to what the Dems will do. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and tell myself they are just keeping their cards close to the vest, that it's part of their strategy, but, Lord knows, they have done enough spineless things to keep me doubting that they will truly come through on this and kick some serious Republican ass.

One more thing, if no one in the US gets this going, do you think that the international community will try to do anything to stop this atrocity of an administration??

I don't even want to think about the scenario of us NOT taking at least one chamber (damn those machines and slimy election tactics!), but even if we do, I still have plenty of trepidation.
