Did I dream this?

There was mention of a coup last night. Silence today.

1. Heard this morning "attack on green zone in final planning
stages." What to believe? Beats me.

2. MSNBC just did a story on it. It is still in lock down. They don't say
anything about a coup. They reported that we broke up a big suicide bombing plan for inside the green zone - multiple, coordinated attacks.

4. CNN Headline News did cover it.
I tuned in around the top of the hour and saw that particular topic covered.

The Washington Post doesn't seem to have anything on it. If they do, it's buried in a story. Today's paper is, rather predictably, filled with stories on the new Bob Woodward book.

5. Everyone is locked down until Sunday. So I guess that means reporters
too.

6. Purported Plot Against Baghdad Green Zone Foiled
September 30, 2006 -- Baghdad was under a daylight curfew today as the U.S. military said a possible attack on the highly protected Green Zone had been foiled.

The government imposed the curfew on vehicles and pedestrians, saying it will go through the morning of October 1.

The government declined to say why the curfew was put in place.
