HUGE: Rice implicated as complicit about urgent CIA 9/11 warnings
Unbelievable:

The book snip reports that then-CIA Director George J. Tenet and his counterterrorism chief, J. Cofer Black, grew so concerned in the summer of 2001 about a possible al-Qaeda attack that they drove straight to the White House to get high-level attention.

Tenet called Rice, then the national security adviser, from his car to ask to see her, in hopes that the surprise appearance would make an impression. But the meeting on July 10, 2001, left Tenet and Black frustrated and feeling brushed off, Woodward reported. Rice, they thought, did not seem to feel the same sense of urgency about the threat and was content to wait for an ongoing policy review.

The report of such a meeting takes on heightened importance after former president Bill Clinton said this week that the Bush team did not do enough to try to kill Osama bin Laden before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) said her husband would have paid more attention to warnings of a possible attack than Bush did. Rice fired back on behalf of the current president, saying the Bush administration "was at least as aggressive" in eight months as President Clinton had been in eight years.

The July 10 meeting of Rice, Tenet and Black went unmentioned in various investigations into the Sept. 11 attacks, and Woodward wrote that Black "felt there were things the commissions wanted to know about and things they didn't want to know about."

Jamie S. Gorelick, a member of the Sept. 11 commission, said she checked with commission staff members who told her investigators were never told about a July 10 meeting. "We didn't know about the meeting itself," she said. "I can assure you it would have been in our report if we had known to ask about it."

17. Rice: "I don't think anyone could have predicted..." sez it all!!
Rice is totally a failed NSA leader however Bush bumps her to secretary of state. Corruption at its extreme.

3. Katie missed a golden
opportunity to ask Condi about her complicity during their one-on-one. Instead of playing piano and showing Condi's 'cute' baby pictures a few relevant questions would have been nice. I'm dreaming, of course.

4. Condi is a lying, oily, corrupt, arrogant fucktard

Nothing she's said has mattered since she said no one could have "imagined" planes flying into buildings, even though both the Bush and Clinton administrations planned for just that possibility.

5. there was no 'attack'
911 was planned by punks operating within the 'secret government' system, with all the planning and details and funding and even the post 'news' coverage all detailed long in advance of sept11th/01. tenet never rushed over to white house with concerns about 'al quida' or anything like that. Woodward is a liar, a KGB agent or somesuch. There were alot of meetings held to prepare for the event, and since 911 vast resources have been devoted (much under cover of anti terror funding) to creating false perception about what went on. Whether one believes this or not don't matter. Just the fact the wash post and soon are still manufacturing bs explanations (which appear legit cuz they attack the official story, which is itself an attack on the 'failures' of the system ie which thus require more gov powers nudgewink hahaha damn those liberal anti war types harharhar) says they still fear the truth which is very simple: If osama bin laden had the power to plan/execute a 911, then he'd have the pigmedia attacking the bush regime 24/7, publicising the obvious flaws in the story and harassing cheney, rice, powell, boosh, rumsmells, asscroft and all the rest.....but it's osama hisself who's been blamed, and is hunted. Imagine this "i can asure you it would have been in our report if we'd had known enough to ask about it" (!!) REALLY?
did they ask about 'northern vigilance'? NO!
or blg #7?

back and forth "no". She's a terrible liar. I think this body language registers with people who watch her.

I got it

"I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center . . . that they would try to use . . . a hijacked airplane as a missile.

13. EXPLICIT INFO THREE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ATTACK
Edited on Sat Sep-30-06 10:53 AM by blondeatlast
Remember that date: July 10, 2001. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Ask your Republican congresspeople what they would have done had they been given that information from the CIA director and his COUNTERTERRORISM chief on July 10, 1001.

THEY HAD THREE MONTHS.
THEY HAD THREE MONTHS.
THEY
HAD
THREE
MONTHS.

Burn in hell, Condi, I feel no Christian mercy for you or your enablers anymore.

22. "No one could have "imagined" planes flying into buildings."
When she and Busholini were at some conference in Italy a few months before the 911 Attack, they stayed on a ship offshore because there was a report that al Q was planning on flying a hijacked plane into the building where the conference was being held. Apparently, that incident completely slipped from her memory.

It was obvious that she was incompetent as NSA Chief but Congress voted for her to be Sec. of State, in spite of that. Btw Hillary Clinton voted yes.

23. Amazing isn't it... Any information that came from anyone
that had anything to do with the Clinton administration was totally ignored. After all he was obsessed with Osama, he was Wagging the Dog. So what we have here is a political party that allowed a terrorist attack to happen on US soil in order to spite a previous administration. They then blamed the former administration while using the public's fear to erode the freedoms they claim to be protecting. It reads like some crazy novel. If you think about it too much your head will explode :banghead:
