2. This Is Where The Dirt Gets Swept Under The Carpet
When I owned a company, each budget I worked on was fine-toothed by several people and I'd catch hell if I got a comma in the wrong place or over-estimated a cost. These guys just throw billions of dollars into a consent or ominbus bill and run it through at 1:30am. I'm surprised there's still a quorum.

I think the last time they stayed late like this was that abomonidble Terri Schaivo resolution...which IMHO was the start of the slide of the Repugnican party.
