My letter to Dennis Hastert (R-IL)

Sadly, I live in this POSs district. At least I can be glad knowing that my vote will go against him. Here's the letter I sent tonight.

I just wanted you to know that tonight you've become a subject of great discussion in my household.

To begin with, how you disgraced us by leaving a gas station in an SUV after pretending to be there in a fuel-efficient vehicle. And while watching a news program tonight we saw a repeat clip of you (again), singing the wrong words to the National Anthem. Then you vote for to rid of habeas corpus, and for the torture bill, putting not just our troops - but also ALL Americans at risk with your blatant disregard for not only the constitution but the Geneva convention statutes.

And to end - need I even mention Representative Foley from FL? I cannot believe the reports that you protected Foley, and warned pages to steer clear. He sat on committees that wrote laws to protect children from people like him – and you did nothing. You are no better than the predator, because you chose to protect your own personal and party best interests, not the interests of the children at risk, or your constituents. I wouldn't feel safe having my son around you, knowing what you’ve done to protect someone like Foley.

I would consider it wise to get with your community and understand that it’s changing. We don’t all agree with you, nor do we think you represent us. We respect the constitution, we respect our founding principles, and sir - we care deeply about our children, and don't want to see them sacrificed to wolves such as Representative Foley, and those that care to protect him, such as you. I’m embarrassed to even admit that you are my Congressman.
