House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?
Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 08:54 PM by bushmeat
If we can't trust them with our kids we can't trust them with our country!

Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) Resigns over sexually explicit Email's and IM's to 16 year old boy...

Here is one of the sexually explicit instant messages to a 16 year old boy (Foley's screenname is Maf54):
http://abcnews.go.com/images/WNT/02-02-03b.pdf">House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?

The Republican House leadership are monsters. They knew and let him remain in the GOP leadership for a year. They let him remain the Chairman of the child sex offender caucus. Jesus H. Christ.

GOP = Gathering Of Pedophiles

Foley was Chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children
http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2006/09/foley_resigns_o.html">House Speaker Complicit in Foley Teen Sex Scandal Coverup?

The Republican House leadership has known about (and covered up) Foley for a year
Quote:
The page worked for Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-La., who said Friday that when he learned of the e-mail exchanges 10 to 11 months ago, he called the teen's parents. Alexander told the Ruston Daily Leader, "We also notified the House leadership that there might be a potential problem," a reference to the House's Republican leaders.

in the butt! This is BIG! :nuke:

Did you catch the following:

"ABC News reported Friday that Foley also engaged in a series of sexually explicit instant messages with current and former teenage male pages.

That's plural ===> male teenage pages

This man is a sexual PREDATOR!!! Perhaps he has seduced underage male pages?!?

The House leadership kept this under wraps for over 10 months!!!

THIS IS BIG! :nuke:

3. What's wrong with this picture?
What's wrong with this picture?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We all remember that cartoon feature in the kiddie magazine "Highlights". You know the one where all the weird stuff is being done in the picture you read while waiting at the doctor's office. You were asked to point out the strange stuff. Like the cat with the dog leash on or the summer beach at the lake showing ice skaters etc.

Well i thought it would surely be fun to employ the same quiz with current events. So try this one out for size:

What is wrong with this picture?:

NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN HAILS THE U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR APPROVING TOUGHER SEX OFFENDER AND CHILD PROTECTION LEGISLATION

NCMEC praises Representative Mark Foley (R-FL) for his tireless efforts as one of the primary authors of the original bill. The organization also commends Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-IL), Judiciary Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and Ranking Member John Conyers (D-MI), along with members of the Judiciary Committee and other co-sponsors of the bill for their dedication in getting this legislation passed.

7. the dems should insist on a full review of all laws b4 adjournment
Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 09:43 PM by bushmeat
any sex-crime related laws foley worked on should be suspect...

plus they should insist on independent counsel to look into the GOP coverup

the GOP leadership had the parents convinced to be quiet

then the information was leaked to The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) who waited for ABC to put up the story, then published everything they acquired.

The GOP leadership thought that they had buried this story....

DEMS DONT LET THE GOP ESCAPE TO HOME TO CAMPAIGN!

4. Quid pro Quo.
Foley's loyalty to vote the right way in exchange for Hastert looking the other way.

The "Do As I Say, Not As I Do" Republican Party. Is there a greater collective of organized criminals in America today?

11. So a blow job is NOT sex, but online hot chat is?
Interesting. Seeing as how us Democrats have already been through a real life version of Foley's cyber scandal, maybe we should recall how the Democrats dealt with Gerry Studds and hold the Republicans to live up to our example.

How did the Democrats deal with Gerry Studds' sexual relationship with a 17 year old page?

13. Studd's was censured - the page claimed that it was consensual.
it was not right, but Studd's was also not a vocal hypocrite on the matter.

14. Just as I thought -- gay panic defense - he didn't consent to get hit on
An hypocrisy is really the only difference between the two incidents isn't it? Yet DU is ready to lynch the guy for being a child predator no matter that we're acting like freepers.

16. "DU is ready to lynch the guy for being a child predator"
Yup, that sounds about right. When it comes down the question of do we favor a pedophile chairing the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children, I think most of would oppose.

How exactly are we acting like Freepers? The GOPs been covering up for this sicko for 10 months like he was a parish priest.

17. So far two people have made an honest attempt at the Gerry Studds analogy
And both have concluded the real issue is hypocrisy.

But not one person still going on about pedophilia, predator, abuse has even acknowledged it. Why do you ignore the obvious and relevant comparison I put to you?

21. Why stop at Gerry Studds?
Edited on Sat Sep-30-06 11:33 PM by FredScuttle
Why don't you bring up Robert Byrd's membership in the KKK, or Ted Kennedy's drunk driving accident at Chappaquidick while you're at it?

Any other examples you want to trot out to level the playing field in the midst of an explosive GOP scandal? Hmmm? I hear that Bill Clinton was a feral cat with the ladies.....

Apparantly, the repukes are now saying it was the Democrats that covered up the Foley thing...

To: MizSterious

You know when I first read about this I thought there was no way it was going to bite Demonrats in the rear. But, I see it now. It is actually sad to me...they apparently covered for Foley and now are screaming and pointing fingers that we have a pervert in our ranks.
