Now, let's put a dem in the SAME scandal....what do you think the headlines would read

2. Yep, same same crapola at the Chicago Tribune --
Just read an article there a little while ago.

Oh, but "the gentleman from Florida" surely intended those emails to be entirely above-board; he's an innocent man being "smeared" by Dems, yada yada yada.

Talk about a whitewash job -- or as an earlier poster relayed in another thread, a "bleeding heart" for that poor congressman who was "part of" such a "tragedy"!

Blech!....... :puke:


Then there was also this from the CT article:

Foley's aides initially blamed Democratic rival Tim Mahoney and Democrats with attempting to smear the congressman before the election.


Well, gee ... and when was it, exactly, that they decided the bum was nailed already, and admitted that their accusing his Dem opponent of a "smear" job was the squirming, lying squeal of last resort??

3. Well, it didn't look like it was the emails that were explicit...
it was the IM's. ABC must have showed them to him for him to resign in such a hurry. A small technicality.
