this is what I believe we are being prepped for.

I believe that very near to the election, quite probably the week before there will be a high profile assassination in this country in the form of a "terrorist" attack, i.e. a bomb or chemical weapon.

The suspect(s) will get away, and the descriptions will be somewhat murky, i.e., possibly "dark" skinned men in a grey van, or a white truck.

There will be a nationwide manhunt for these suspects, during which there will be mass searches, seizures, detainments, "coercions", etc. to find the culprits.

The elections will be thrown into disarray because of the ensuing chaos and media frenzy.

Everybody will be afraid, nobody will trust anyone. The entire nation will be held hostage.

This is my nightmare scenario, and I hope I'm wrong.
