Yes, I know he flip flops...but Tweety was PLEADING with Murtha
to stand up to the pugs and present a united front. Murtha didn't really answer the question - he did the typical "we are the minority party, we can't get heard". Yes, I know - it is part the media's fault. But I have to say that I agree (rare!) with Tweety - the Dems need to follow Clinton's lead and get out there, be strong - don't use the "bide the time" or "let the Pugs screw up" method any longer! Frustrating....and I really like Murtha. This isn't a slam on him...it is a slam on the general approach that the Dems have been taking for 6 years!

3. The DC Dems are still following bad advice from highly paid consultants
You know the same consultants who told Kerry to concede and are now telling Dems to be quiet and bide time.

4. I'm watching Tweety.
God Almighty, who was that repuke female that he was just talking to? She answered not one of his questions about the stuff in Woodward's book, all she did was say that dems can only attack personalities.

5. When you play along for six years, it's not called strategy.
It's called complicity.
