Hugo Chavez question
Is there a book or other source of information that tells a truthful story of what this guy is all about? I've asked several diffrent people and got a diffrent opinoin of him from each one. From what I understand he basically forced the corrupt officials out of office and took over, giving more power to the working class-thereby making a lot of enemies.
I know he has Bush pegged-
"You are a donkey, Mr. Danger!"

Any book recommendations would be a big help in my search for the truth

1. You might watch Greg Palast's film "Finding Bolivar's Heir
It is up on the net. This link, though, is an audio file:

2. a great book
You should look for Richard Gott's book, Hugo Chavez. Gott is a veteran jounalist in Latin America. He worked for the Guardian of London.

A great read.

4. Greg Palast's "Armed Madhouse"
Is the most recent work I've seen that gives factoids on Chavez. Wikipedia does a decent job of fleshing in his life http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugo_Ch%C3%A1vez The article is in dispute by Wingers (I believe) so it must be truthful.

This book has been recommended to me but I have yet to read it: http://www.amazon.com/Venezuelan-Politics-Chavez-Era-Polarization/dp/1588262979/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b/102-1778625-9262523?ie=UTF8
