Got a call from my husband - both upset about the events of yesterday. We decided to join ACLU. Remember Conyers and ACLU took the adm. to court to stop illegal wiretapping. I feel like I've done something to counteract the insanity today - hope you will too.

2. Kept up the membership when I was poor

and trying to live on less than $300/month after the mortgage payment. There were days when the only meal would be some brown rice and half a grated carrot.

5. I've been an ACLU member for a while now...strongly encourage others

to join, also. I'm so heartbroken about the Democrats who supported the torture legislation that I really can't think straight right now, but the ACLU is always a beacon of liberty in a sea of darkness.
