Prediction: More whispers
Take mental note of how much more people now will whisper about their political views. See how often people won't discuss things out in public. Notice how much more often people will be reserved in what they say around people they don'y know well.

Here we go.

1. It's coming. You're right.
People have already been trained to think that politics is something that "experts" think about. It's not something they want to have to deal with. It's over their heads.

Now it will go one step further. People will be scared to have political opinions.

3. Close talkers.
When I was in Moscow one of our guides told us that the Russian people were "close talkers" from years of being afraid to be overheard. Now I have no idea if that is why they get so close to speak to you but I did notice that some of them did.

4. A republican nephew who owns a company in washington told me......
this a year ago. A colleague sent him a email spouting something wonderful about the administration and my started to send the colleague a reply disagreeing with him. He told me that he actually stopped and wondered if he might get in trouble if someone were reading his emails. Realizing what he was thinking, and the atmosphere in this country that caused him to think like that, for the first time in his life, sent shivers down his spine.
That was when he realized something was drastically wrong with this nation.
I wonder what he is thinking today.
