info on Olbermann's ratings........
I'm looking for info to counter this email I received.......

Olbermann Digs Deep to Find Ratings Success, National review 09/28
10:12 PM

- The Markup, Videos Tonight, Keith Olbermann tried desperately to
convince his viewers that they are not alone. He had to dig deep to do
so, but he managed to find a time slot in which he wasn't completely
dominated by Fox News — 12 a.m. ET.

So when half of the country is asleep, MSNBC's Countdown rerun beats Fox
News's Special Report rerun in the 25-54 demographic. But what about the
original airing of Countdown at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT? According to
TVNewser's ratings scoreboard, The O'Reilly Factor consistently beats
Countdown by 2 to 1 margins.

Johnny Dollar has the specifics in his rundown of last night's show:

And in case you're wondering why the infamous, deplorable Keith
Olbermann cited Neilsen numbers from the wee small hours of the morning,
but not primetime, it may because at 8:00 pm he was back in fourth place
again. Even worse, in that same "key demo" he was celebrating, Countdown
finished fifth.

He even lost to a rerun of Deal or No Deal on CNBC.

Yikes!

Time to have his writers whip up another special comment for sure.

Sounds like a plan. I hear Iowahawk got his hands on the first draft.

I know there this came from a right winger which accounts for the way it's written.

3. Jealous
Notice...when ever a comment is made by someone telling the democratic side of anything, you have right away a republican spewing poopoganda about it. That when ever a democrat or liberal even makes a standard comment a right wing spewer starts. THEY ARE SO JEALOUS, SO DESPERATE IN THE FACT THAT PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO EVEN TELL ANYONE THEY ARE REPUBLICAN THEY HAVE TO MAKE UP STUFF.

Surveys, not taken by the democrats or liberals, say that rush has lost almost half of his market. The dems didn't do the survey, the dems didn't put out the results. It was an indepentant marketing company. Checking so they could find how much ads would cost to run on rush's show. They said rush starting crying for the RNC to pick up the cost for some of the slack so he could stay on the air. I know that he lost the Baltimore radio spot. And also how many times has you seen on TV and on the internet that Fox has lost 1/3 of it's audience and that it is still falling. Why do you thing they are starting a loud screeching campaign about anything dem/lib trying to bring the audience back.

WE LOVE OLBERMANN AND WE LET MSNBC KNOW IT. IF THEY EVER DECIDED TO TAKE HIM OFF WE COULD ALL EMAIL THEM AND TELL THEM IT WAS TOO BAD THAT THEIR SITE IS GONNA GO BROKE. OLBERMANN IS THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS THEM CLOSE TO A PROFIT.

9. yes, I agree.......that's why I wanted to disprove it
a few days ago, the same guy told me that MSNBC was cancelling Olbermann to air some crime shows!

Yeah, right.....I'll believe that when it happens. MSNBC would have to be crazy to cancel the highest rated show it's got!

5. Well, first of all, Olbermann comes on at 9:00 pm on the West Coast
Not at midnight. That's the only time I can watch it.

7. Excellent Point
Unless you get home at 5 PST in California, you're not going to see the show in it's entirety, and then for a loyal viewer like myself, I usually catch the 9 PM repeat.

If someone says about some right wing shitheads ratings, I usually react that just because a bunch of MORONS watch something, doesn't make it accurate or worth wasting 1 second of my valuable time on.

I don't care if people think O'Leilly is god, I know that he's a BLOWHARD.

8. People aren't watching news at 8 PM
They're watching sitcoms, or movies, or even last night's The Daily Show - anything but the evening news. Only non-life-having people watch news shows at 8 PM, and of course, most of those are watching Bill O'Reilly. Go figure. At 12, the best part of Letterman's show is over with, and if you're not going straight to bed, you have to watch something.

Incidentally, how many million people have seen K.O.'s rants on YouTube? MSNBC should open an account and put his stuff out there with little "pasty" ads in the corner. Would advertisers pay big bucks to get two million eyeballs for ten minutes at a whack? You betcha.

15. Excuse me!
I watch it at 8:00 p.m., thank you very much! I have to go to bed around 11:00, 11:30, so staying up to watch at midnight is NOT an option.

11. I'd reply with this:
I don't know where you got your numbers, but it seems you are badly mistaken regarding Keith Olbermann's rankings. He is consistently coming in second in both full market and the money demo market of the 25 to 54 year old.

Complete:

FNC
O'Reilly: 2,291

CNN
Zahn: 576

MSNBC:
Olbermann: 700

HLN
Grace: 629

Money Demo:

FNC
O'Reilly: 599

CNN
Zahn: 215

MSNBC
Olbermann: 321

HLN
Grace: 248

In fact, Olbermann is breathing down O'Reilly's back in the money demo - and has surpassed him on occasion. It's a fact that the average O'Reilly viewer is about 70 years old: his market is dying off.

14. Ask the idiot who sent it if he thinks it means Olbermann is wrong
Even if it is true, all it would mean is that Olbermann's ratings a re lower. Does this Republican filth think that makes him wrong? Is being right a function of being watched by mentally retarded inbred genetic flubs? Just because the subhuman scum of the earth watches O'Reilly, is O'Reilly right now?
