3. The voters who will decide this race don't read books
We know who will vote against Lieberman. We know who will vote for him.

The middle, soft 20% will decide at the last minute based on some stupid campaign ad or slogan

6. Exactly. I don't have the data, but I'd guess less than 5% of US citizens
would read a book like that.

10. It's not the 5% that read it...
It's the 30-35% that hear about it on the news, or through friends who heard it on the news, or read it in the newspaper, or heard it on talk radio, etc.

well, about the contents of the books (I've read about Woodward today, though).
