Just now on C-span.

This is the type of thing we need to start shouting from the rooftops!

Support Democrats that speak like this, not the WIMPS that make important votes based on what they think the polls tell them.

19. Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln...we let them ALL down
And America dies like every other Republic before it, in Tyranny.

We are damned.

5. He's mine! MY rep!
I'm very very proud.

Perhaps one day I can feel that way about my senators. Although at least they didn't vote for torture. I'm almost surprised by that.

7. Jerry Nadler gets my KSOTO Award for the day.
When stating the obvious becomes rare, we are truly and completely fucked.

12. Their definition of Unlawful Enemy Combatant is downright frightening.
Anyone who is hostile to, or supports people hostile to, the United States.

16. That includes everyone who voted for this law.
They just outlawed themselves. I wonder if they will voluntarily report to detention?

15. King George, the sequel.
I guess we need another revolution. People in other forums are saying habeas corpus won't be gone for long. Well, I'm not sure about that. It's so utterly a part of our foundation, I cannot see it being gone for long.

I hate dungeons.

18. King George the IV
Americans need simple soundbites. The spirit of 2006. Fight the torture establishment. This is why the dems who voted for torture did it for a faulty political calculus, as ALWAYS. They're counting on Americans to think they are strong on torture when it is most likely to be spun that they have no principles.
