Why we are losing
He lashed out anew at critics "who make a case that, by fighting the terrorists, we're making our people less secure here at home. This argument buys into the enemy's propaganda that the terrorists attack us because we're provoking them," he said.

Yawn more propaganda from Bush. No wonder we are losing. Of course no critic thinks we shouldn't fight terrorist or terrorism. He won't even address the real criticism against his policies and is instead making up a position few people hold and rallying against it. That's propaganda. It’s the same thing this administration does over and over. And the media lets him get away with it. Really I think screw you Mr. President if you thin I don’t want to fight terrorism. It’s 5 years since 9-11 and I’m still waiting for you to start actually fighting. The real critics point out Bush wasn't and isn't fighting terrorism or terrorists with his Iraq war. Fighting people that aren't terrorist and calling them terrorist and creating an unstable area ripe for terrorism has indeed made us less secure. But what really hurt our security is a president that lies about the enemy, lies about the course of the war and lies about his critics position. That and a press that gladly prints the President propaganda over and over and over.

6. They hate it for it's freedom
Lucky enough the president assures me we are winning the war, no matter what the people in charge of actually assessing the war say. I know this because all the milestones the president clearly laid out that have been met.

3. words are becoming the enemy.
seriously, they control us with words, with phrases, repeating over and over, chants to anesthetize and quiet us.

when I go away from their noise I find my mind again and go inside there for a solution. Subliminal warfare - what weapon to defend our spirits, so nearly numb?

4. Fighting terrorists isn't the problem. Strategy and tactics is a problem

5. they ARE attacking us because we're provoking them

has bush read ANYTHING bin laden has written?

they think their culture is under assault from the West. to a degree, they're right, and to a degree, they're fucking delusional religious fanatics.

2 things would undermine that belief among muslims. a resolution to the Palestinian situation, and greater equality in distribution of oil wealth - idle hands are the devil's playground. meaning employed muslim youth don't become suicide bombers.

on edit: i'm referring to Al Qaeda here, not Iraq. if we get the fuck out of Iraq, then Iraqis won't be killing Americans.

7. Might've been helpful if Chucklenuts hadn't used "Crusade"which
seemed to get lots of people edgy.
