Fer chrissakes, Poppy Bush talked Clinton into letting Contra cocaine and arms deals go down at Mena, and talked Clinton into closing the books on IranContra, BCCI and CIA drugrunning which protected the very terrorist networks who murdered 3000 citizens on 9-11.

If Clinton can play that kind of ball with Poppy Bush, and ignore all the criminal acts committed by BushInc, then he could AT LEAST do this one NOBLE act with Jimmy Carter.

11. Carter is no prize either. He's unpredictable. Do you understand why

he blessed Jim Baker's "Voter ID" proposal in the 2005 Carter-Baker Commission report, and why he opposed mandatory voting standards in the 2001 Carter-Ford Commission report? Carter might find some way to screw up the "torture" campign issue for Dems. Jimmy is one of my heroes, but I do not understand him.
