But I did see an article showing that most papers just don't cover Iraq on the front page anymore. The two exceptions were the NYT and the Wash. Post. But a lot of papers had 0 stories on Iraq on the front page.

I just don't understand that at all. Is it because its just not entertaining enough?
At least 60 Minutes is having the interview with Bob Woodward this weekend. That should be good.

During the Viet Nam war we had lots of press coverage every nite.

9. My guess is they don't cover it because we are living in a time

of mass distraction created by the cabal who have used their influence to get the media to tone down any news of Iraq. Don't want to remind us people of what failures they are; can't have that.

6. If the news media

can take the time to report the names of murder and traffic victims every day, why can't they state the names of our men and women whose names have just been released as casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan?

7. I agree. The media really needs to be doing a better job.

Almost all of our Iraq and Afghanistan coerage is back on pages 10 or 16 in the KC Star.

8. How tragic.

All for a lie and a lot of Iraqi oil. Makes me sad, angry, and crazy -- all at the same time.

But, there is a bright side today, I hear! :sarcasm: ---- We can now torture people we even suspect of terrorism, and the "definition of torture" is left up to our President (who can't speak a coherent sentence of more than three words!) -- and 12 (TWELVE!) Democrats voted along with the Republicans in agreement with that. Let the Mardi Gras begin! -- oops... forgot... New Orleans is gone now, too. Super. Just super.

I weep for this country.
