1. AAR should develop more relationships with pro-America musicians.
David Bender's CSNY stuff is compelling, but it doesn't even scratch the surface.

3. k&r For My First Big & Ever Enduring Crush!! Hey SoCA DU-ers...
By crush I mean, completely imaginary delusion in my head, just to clarify. He has been joined recently by Keith Olbermann. They get along fine switching off residence in my heart of hearts!

Hey Angelinos, do not and I mean DO NOT miss the yearly benefit JB & the group Venice do every summer for Santa Monica high! JB is a SaMo Hi dad and every year puts on this KILLER SHOW it's like $50 for the cheap seats but so worth it. Small high school venue and incredible guests every year...!! Look for it, the charity is called GuacFund and they fund the excellent music program at SaMo, they turn out stellar quality musicians there.

12. I am jealous... although I'm not one for hotter climate...
I ENVY people in SoCal for the JB concerts and also Beth Hart plays there when she's in the US...

I can't afford to go 3,000 miles for a concert. That wouldn't have stopped me years ago, but now, well, I guess keeping the house and feeding the kids come first. LOL.

I LOVE DVD's though...

How about his "Coming Home" dvd? Wow. Haven't seen that in a while.

14. I there w/ you.
When I first started college in '66, I had a girlfriend whose dad was a TV producer...she knew all kinds of people in Hollywopd. We would trek to the 'Whiskey' on Friday nights & her connections would get us in...if we got there early, a kid our age would be on stage trying out songs. He was sooooo cute but a little shy. I have been a fan....OMG....for 40 years!

8. A lot of the music I loved in the sixties
is popular again - the stuff my elders decried as garbage that would never last. Now my 25 year old son listens to Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Stones

9. I'd have that first response too, except it would well with
being impressed!

My kids hear JB all the time in my house. I've been listening to him for thirty years now. I started at 14.

His website is great (wish it was updated more regularly though). I wonder if any of these musicians would take a request for an emergency concert to ALERT THE SUPREME COURT... we want this torture bill THROWN OUT!....

"Get out the Vote" faired very well... IMO, this is even more crucial.
