Students: School Suspended Us For Dressing Alike
MARION, Ind. -- A school recently suspended four eighth-grade girls because they wore identical outfits on the same day, some of the girls and their parents said.

Two of the girls, Dacia Small and Mindy Ellis, said McCulloch Middle School officials incorrectly branded them as gang members because of the outfits. The four received a five-day suspension after Principal Michael Shaffer saw their clothes, Small and Ellis said.

"One of the girls asked him what was the matter with it. Then he started yelling at all everybody and took us to the office and suspended us," Small told Indianapolis TV station WRTV.

Shaffer said the girls were suspended because they violated school rules, but he declined to say which rules they broke.

2. That's a "red carpet" nightmare!
Identical outfits! What were they thinking?

Everyone knows that's an al qaeda tactic.

4. Authoritarian madness
Some schools require uniforms. Some ban uniforms.
There are laws against gambling. But governments run gambling lotteries.
There are beaches where life preservers are illegal.
Sometimes alcohol is banned, sometimes not banned.
What is consistent is that governments like to give orders.
They do not need to make sense. Governments are factories for rules.
They constantly produce new laws and repeal few. There are a million laws
to follow. You may be breaking several laws right now without knowing it.

Do you believe there are less than one million laws in the USA?

How long until the number of laws is double what we have now?

Are there more regulations or laws? (Compare United States Code USC and the Code of Federal Regulations CFR).
