Bush Approval Rating Rises in Polls: Possible Reasons...
Gas Prices: Data shows that as gas prices drop Bush approval rating goes up.

Terror Fear Advertisements: The group 'Progress for America' has bombarded the airwaves with terror filled television ad's (In Ohio at least) warning us that arab terrorists want to kill us, complete with 9/11 footage.

News coveraged the past few months: Anyone know of a organization that tracks news headlines on a daily basis? I'd like to see if there has been a drop in headlines in the last few months concerning Iraq.

Democrats lack voice, leadership, and plans.

Are these the reasons, what are others?

1. Fixing The Election
Don't forget that one. But the others are certainly valid, giving the MORONS posing as citizens of this country.

8. We've entered the Twilight Zone?
Will my old John Wayne WWII movies be fixed so the bad guys
are not just the ones using torture but rather the guys using torture
that is so much less humane than our baseball hot dogs and
apple pie type of torture?

9. Gas prices
I have never seen gas prices change as quickly as they have the last month or two. I don't know if Bush made a few phone calls, or if the oil companies are just helping out the Republicans on their own.

11. Honestly the oil drop can be explained without any Bush intervention
The Crisis in Israel-Lebanon ended.

Iran Crisis cooled down.

Gas prices drop after the U.S. summer driving season is complete.

Oil prices were propped up on the speculation that the U.S. would have a hurricain season that disrupted the oil operations in the Gulf of Mexico.

Slow down in U.S. economy.

14. When Bush was selected president by the Supreme Court, I had
right-wing co-workers tell me to watch the price of gas drop, now that we have a Texas Oil President. Now you are making excuses for the high gas prices through the last several years... hmmmmmm.. I hope you are not

going with the republican investigation into price gouging at the gas pump, because you're starting sound like them!

Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 01:08 PM by B Calm
getting off with the personal attack about me wearing a tinfoil hat? It's a fact that the republican congress looked into price gouging and didn't find anything! It's also a damn fact that the Supreme Court selected Bush to be the president!

13. All of the above
And, yes, Iraw has dropped off the radio screen. Suddenly the press has no interest in Iraq and the Dems don't seem able to get it back in the public's mind w/ Bush yelling terra, terra, terra 24/7. Surprise, surprise.
