It's taking a while for this to sink in.

I live in Washington. People who weren't elected by us passed a law allowing the president, who also wasn't elected by us, to secretly redefine the term "torture" - in violation of the Geneva convention, so that he can use it to extract coerced and false confessions from people (including citizens) detained for secret reasons, in secret prisons, and try them using secret evidence in the president's military court without redress to the judicial system.

Did I miss anything? At what point can we call this fascist?

Forget what you were taught in school about separation of powers, due process and all that shit. It's no longer valid.
