Question regarding Geneva rules
Who enforces them? If the cabal chooses to ignore them they're going to be able to get away with it here.

Is there an international group that can take them to task for the violoations though?

Should we expect sanctions etc?

4. I believe it has to be asked
and it is not automatic. We have to research the Charter to see what the process may entail.

The International Criminal Court has jurisdiction over the Geneva Convention. BUT

The US does not recognize many of the provisions of binding conventions in various International agreements, including that of the International Court. To do this, this administration had to gather support from a number of countries to be excluded, and recently had the exclusion extended. By now, that support, I think is diminishing for the next renewal.

Sanctions, if I am correct, are customarily debated and voted on at the Security Council, of which the US is a main member - with veto powers. So how that is handled in this case needs to be researched.

But it is an interesting question - , what if anything can be accomplished, if let's say, half of the US population signed a petition and filed a complaint with the IC - half of the population, meanwhile will be labeled "unlawful combatants" by this government, perhaps. How much space do they have in gitmo?

In any event, should these series of bills become law, I can assure you - the global community will look at this country with disgust.
