Tracking poll: Bush holds on to advantage (Gallup Poll from 2000)

By CNN Polling Director Keating Holland

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Today's CNN/USA Today/Gallup tracking poll continues to give George W. Bush an advantage over Vice President Al Gore.

While not a prediction of the voters' choice in November, Friday's results show Bush garnering 52 percent of the vote and Gore drawing 39 percent. The survey of 851 likely voters was conducted October 24-26 and has a 3.5 percentage point margin of error.

I posted this to show an example of the media's complicity in helping Bush, and of how you can't trust them even in some polls. Gallup had Bush winning by 13 POINTS with only a little more than a week before Election Day.

1. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER TRUST CORPORATE MEDIA WHORES
EVER AGAIN!! I won't waste my time watching any piece of garbage "news" SPIN CRAP.

I'll get my news from Keith Olbermann, as long as he's able to maintain his job. Beyond that, I WILL NEVER EVER EVER watch the corporate media shills again. Even when they eventually decide to shill for the Democrats.

The news media is 90% WORTHLESS, and I will not enable them to continue if I have any say in it.

JUST TURN IT OFF!!!!!

2. Gallup is a partisan polling outfit
It used to be an accurate pollster, but the company was bought out by reactionary fundamentalist Christians. They create polls relying on the good name of the company, but the polls they create are without exception outliers in the same mold as Strategic Vision.
