Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 03:53 PM by Solly Mack
so long as you believe this new America is the land of the free and the brave and that this post 911 world requires we abandon all principles and pretend we don't...you'll be fine.

10. On my. You'll have a tough time adjusting
Repeat after me

America hasn't changed. It's the world that changed. Pre-911 thinking is dangerous to America.

12. The Constitution is a meaningless document.
The Rulers of America have simply used a scrap of paper to bind the lesser classes into believing they have a say in this nation and the accumalation fo wealth/power.

It is now a mythical document which all the frauds in Federal Government have enshirened as an Ark of the Covenant.

13. OK. You're gonna need lots of re-wiring
Sorry...it'll only hurt a little bit.

Step this way...waterboarding for a better America is down the hall.

sarcasm aside...

"consent of the governed" is looking more and more like a scam isn't it? I was thinking that just the another night in a talk a few of us were having at my house

Fool the people into thinking they have a government for/by/of the people...tell them their government only operates with the "consent of the governed" and then screw the people over and over and over...and the kicker? the people think you screwing them over with legal covering falls under "consent of the governed"

14. Room 101? I know what's in Room 101...
Sadly, I think your analysis is spot on and the truly unfortunate thing is those fooled and enslaved end up fighting those who attempt to show them the chains and bars which bind them.

Meanwhile the Great Men of Industry and Government reap millions, while sending the poor off to spill their hearts blood in the sand of a far away place year after year...

15. Because it would shatter their world otherwise (to quoted comment below)
"...those fooled and enslaved end up fighting those who attempt to show them the chains and bars which bind them."

Many don't want to hear that the America they've been conditioned to believe in since birth just doesn't exist. They would rather accept outrages - as long as they don't feel too uncomfortable. And as long as the worst outrages are happening to others...well, then they think the system is working because the system said those other people are bad.

To believe that the exact same corrupt and broken system can be used to fix the system is just plain denial.
