Anyone catch wind of this?
Thought I came across a report that polled Iraqis and found that an astonishing 60% of them supported attacks on US troops. Didn't have time to make note of the link (my bad). Anyone else note this story, and possibly provide a link? Thanks in advance...

4. We Can't Leave
We've created a powder keg, which is more likely to come back and bite us in the ASS, than if we had not invaded at all.

Of course, the intelligent person would understand this. Unfortunately, this country is filled with MORONS.

8. Just like we can't release the prisoners from Gitmo

and our other torture camps around the world.

After soooo much time, and soooo much pain, if they weren't terrorists dedicated to killing Americans when
we "detained" them, they are NOW.

I always get surprised at what I thought were good and important posts dropping off so fast. It happens.

6. I'm surprised the figure is that low.
If the US were invaded and occupied, I'd venture that close to 100% of the population would support attacks on the invaders. Can't imagine Iraqis being any different.

15. It's Probably Much Higher in Sunni Areas and in Baghdad
Kurds have the least problem with US presence, and some Shiites live in relatively peaceful areas and may be more afraid of Sunnis resuming control than of the US remaining.

9. They don't want us there. The populations of invaded countries seldom
want an occupying power, even if the deposed regime was despotic.

13. Its not news on DU, but it would certainly be interesting if the MSM
talked about it.

Yep, that's true.
